Colors

short kuttaiyaana: குட்டையான (குட்டை +ஆன)
small siriya: சிறிய
tall uyaramaana: உயரமான (உயரம் + ஆன)
thick thadiyaana: தடியான (தடி + ஆன)
thin olliyaana: ஒல்லியான (ஒல்லி + ஆன)
wide akalamaana: அகலமான (அகலம் + ஆன)

Prepositions (Location)

In/at +இல் [il] (use as suffix)
Inside உள்ளே [ulle]

About ஏறத்தாழ [eraththāzha]
Between இடையே [itaiye]
But ஆனல் [ānāl]
For +க்கு [ikku] (use as suffix)
From +இல்லிருந்து [Il irundhu] (use as suffix)
To வரை [varai]
Next to அடுத்து [aduthu]

 

Simple Sentences to Learn:

That is a long line: அது ஒரு நீளமான  கோடு (கோடு Kōṭu: Line)

That is a yellow line: அது ஒரு மஞ்சள் கோடு

That is a long yellow line: அது ஒரு நீளமான மஞ்சள் கோடு

The yellow line is in the middle of the road: மஞ்சள் கோடு சாலையின் நடுவில் இருக்கிரது

That is a white dog: அது ஒரு வெள்ளை நாய்

The dog is outside: நாய் வெளியே இருக்கிரது

The  brown dog is sitting below the purple chair: பழுப்பு நிற நாய் ஊதா நிற நாற்காலியின் கீழே அமர்ந்திருக்கிறது

The chair is next to the table: நாற்காலி மேசைக்கு அருகில் இருக்கிரது

The table is under a tall tree: உயரமான மரத்தடியில் மேஜை இருக்கிரது
