Chapter 6.3: Everyday Activities and Common Schedules

In this lesson, we are going to learn the common verbs and vocabulary needed to describe our daily activities and schedules. This lesson is going to use spoken Tamil for most of the sentences.

The action verbs that we are going to learn are given in the plain “command” form. The students are going to learn to add the proper suffixes to make them meaningful in their sentences.

Morning Schedule Activity:

In this activity, we are using first-person habitual tense to make sentences to describe the morning routine of a student. This is an example for you to learn to do the activity that is provided after this table. Look at the picture in the first column that gives you the verb, the second column gives you the time and the third column gives you the sentence to read.

Evening Schedule:

Now use this example to fill out the following schedule in first person habitual tense. Look at the picture in the first column that gives you the verb, the second column gives you the time, and in the third column you will write one sentence describing what you are doing at that given time as shown in the example above.
