D. Large-Value Septuplets

Two-Part Exercises

The exercises below are both two-part exercises and feature septuplets spread over multiple beats. Exercise 9D-1 features septuplets over two half-note beats, while Exercise 9D-2 features septuplets over three quarter-note beats. The same strategies for performing large-value quintuplets apply to large-value septuplets.
