Sometimes, lists will not be semantic, like this:

1 Lorem

2 Ipsum

3 Dolor

Instead, they should be semantic (shown below). To do this, simply hover over the content of the list and click the list icon in the toolbar.

  1. Lorem
  2. Ipsum
  3. Dolor

Customized List Markers

In the case of Intermediate Persian, the author was using non-semantic lists with the Persian alphabet (الف ,ب ,پ) as markers instead of the latin alphabet (a, b, c). By using the @counter-style CSS at-rule,

So, every list tagged with class=”persian” will have Persian alphabet list markers, like below. In this case, There are numbered questions, and the answers are listed with the Persian letters:
