Activity (15): Ask Questions
With your classmates. Ask your classmates the following questions in Arabic to get complete answers then report your findings to class.
- Do you like traveling? Where?
- Do you eat vegetables and fruit everyday?
- Do like meat or chicken?
- Do you like desserts? Which desserts?
- What do you like to read?
- Do you watch TV? What do you like to watch?
- Do you listen to music? Which music?
Activity (16): Journal Writing Prompt
You get a chance to travel to Egypt or Jordan in a study abroad program and you will be living with a roommate whom you started contacting and found his/her profile online (You can pick a name for that roommate like Mohamed for male and Zainab for female). In about 70-80 words, initiate a message for him/her , greet and talk more about yourself where you from and where you live, details about your family members, friends, likes and dislikes, what you study/work or want to study/work. Digress to some memories like what you used to do and like in your childhood and school days and talk about your childhood friends and what you used to do together. You should also ask relevant questions to that person about their family and friends, what they used to do and like, what they do now, and what they like to do.
