For instance: మా తాతయ్య పేరేమిటి?
Please note that blend (sandhi) in the usage of పేరేమిటి is a combination of two words: పేరు + ఏమిటి.
Native speakers never separate those two words which would sound like: తాతయ్య పేరు ఏమిటి? Almost all questions words in native speech undergo this change.
For instance:
- మీ నాన్నగారి పేరేమిటి? (పేరు + ఏమిటి)
- మీరు అమెరికాలో ఎక్కడుంటారు? (ఎక్కడ + వుంటారు)
- మీ చెల్లి ఇక్కడికి ఎప్పుడొచ్చింది? (ఎప్పుడు + వచ్చింది)
- నిన్న క్లాస్ కి ఎవరొచ్చారు? (ఎవరు+ వచ్చారు)
